What does Power add to Pro?
Power adds everything that uses a microphone: “Hey Parrot” voice conversations, hold right ⌘ dictation, hands-free dictation, and the iPhone companion for listening live, replying and allowing requests once.
Is the microphone always on?
On Heard Power, yes, while “Hey Parrot” is on, which is the default: Heard keeps the microphone open for its wake phrase, using a detector that runs on your Mac. macOS shows its microphone indicator while it listens, and holding right ⌘ pauses it. Turn off the “Hey Parrot” switch in Settings › Parrot and Heard only listens while you hold right ⌘ or after you double press it for hands-free dictation. On Free and Pro, nothing listens while you are idle.
Can I approve permission requests from my phone?
Permission requests are approved on your Mac. From your phone you can answer an agent question, reply to a session, or send a voice message.
