Heard Power pairs your iPhone with the Mac that hosts your coding sessions, so you can hear useful updates and dictate a reply without returning to every terminal window.
Paired iPhone workflow · Mac remains the host · Talk back with Heard Power
(1)The short answer
The iPhone is a remote voice surface, not the machine running your agents.
Your Claude Code and Codex sessions continue on the paired Mac. Heard Power makes selected progress, questions, failures, and completion available on your iPhone through the paired Heard companion app and sends dictated replies back to the selected session.
This is most useful for bounded work when you are nearby but not at the desk. A spoken update helps you decide whether to reply, keep moving, or return to the Mac for direct review.
01
Carry the signal
Hear important agent events without carrying the terminal with you.
02
Reply in context
Dictate a short answer and route it to the session that asked.
03
Return for review
Use mobile voice for awareness while the Mac remains authoritative.
(2)Pairing
Connect the phone to the Mac that is doing the work.
Pair your iPhone with Heard Power on the Mac using the Heard companion app, then select the session you want to follow. The phone presents the remote listening and talk back surface while the desktop app maintains the coding-agent connection.
(3)Attention
Choose the smallest stream that keeps you oriented.
Use Focus mode when you are away from the screen and only need intervention points, or Companion if you want fuller narration. Questions, blockers, failed checks, and completion deserve priority over routine tool activity.
Keep destructive and production-changing work at the Mac.
Use clear session names that remain recognizable when spoken.
Treat completion as a prompt to review the actual diff and evidence.
(4)Response
Talk back when the decision is short and unambiguous.
Mobile replies work best for clarifications, selections, and bounded next steps. Return to the desktop when the answer depends on code, logs, or a security-sensitive decision.
